Delete it yourself

1. Sign in at zettelkasten-app.eu or open the Android app.
2. Go to Account.
3. At the bottom, under Account, choose Delete my account and confirm.

A backup of your library downloads to your device first. Your account is then closed immediately.

Ask us to delete it

If you can no longer sign in, email info@zettelkasten-app.eu from the address your account is registered with, with the subject "Account deletion". We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your profile, username and avatar
• Your books, shelves, reading progress and ratings
• Your notes, annotations, quotes, insights and lexicon entries
• Your friends, friend requests and activity shown to others
• Your sign-in credentials

What may be kept

• Payment and invoice records held by Stripe or Google Play, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Encrypted database backups, which roll over and are gone within 30 days.

Premium subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels an active Premium subscription, so you won't be charged again. If the subscription can't be cancelled at that moment, nothing is deleted and you're asked to try again. You can also check it yourself in Google Play → Subscriptions if you subscribed in the Android app.
